PARTNERS

What is Sustain?

The German University in Cairo – in cooperation with German partners – establishes self-sustaining capabilities for consulting, training, education and research in order to promote resource efficiency and sustainable production in the Egyptian industry.
We aim at servicing the Egyptian industrial community with the needed expertise, guidance and support on the path towards more sustainable production and digital transformation.
Consultancy and training are based on well-established scientific methods such as Material Flow Analysis (MFA), Material Flow Cost Accounting (MFCA) and Life Cycle Analysis (LCA). Powered by data-driven analysis and computer-based (re-)modeling of production processes, all of these methods can lead to substantial efficiency gains, resource savings and financial benefits.
